Cris Carter’s Son Duron & Teammate Rob Rose Can Really Twitter, Can’t Pass A Class

Written by T | Visited 27643 times, 21 so far today |

Yes, they both wear #9. Rose (left) and Duron Carter.

It’s December in Columbus, Ohio so what else would you expect than football players getting the news they’ll be sitting at home playing Xbox and watching teammates live it up in L.A.

This kind of stuff happens all the time, right? Of course. And it is Ohio State we’re talking about.

But one of the kid’s who’ll be missing the Rose Bowl happens to be Cris Carter’s son. The other guy, Rob Rose, has been busy pimping his upcoming birthday bash instead of studying for tests.

All we had to do was look at both of the player’s Twitter accounts to figure out why they are ineligible.

Welcome to Stage Two of the UT hostess scandal.

This is the part where recruiting geeks and five-star recruit chasers check their cameras for possible images of Orange Pride chasing down high school boys.

Bingo, says Andy Staples at SI. He revealed last night that the above photo was taken by him after a Byrnes High School game in Duncan, S.C.

Tennessee Football Hostess Photos With UT Recruits Corey Miller, Brandon Willis, Markeith Ambles & Kenny Davis

Markeith Ambles visiting UT. Oh, he committed to the Vols.

The University of Tennessee football team “hostess” scandal seems to be heating up which sent us into photo seeking mode to find these supposed encounters between UT ladies and high school/JUCO recruits.

The results are pretty stunning.

Not only are the SEC ladies pretty open about being arm candy, they don’t even hide it from NCAA investigators who might just be trolling Facebook or other social networks.

The Reason Notre Dame Will Never Be Great Again – Talent

Written by theangryT | Visited 21255 times, 28 so far today |

As most of us with a television and even a mild interest in sporting contests know, Cincinnati’s Brian Kelly has a great chance at becoming the next ND head coach.

He’s won everywhere he’s decided to hang his coaching hat to the tune of a 171-57-2 record thus far.  If you remove his time at Grand Valley State and compile his DI record (or FBS or RBK or HHH or HBK or whatever those clowns are calling DI these days), Kelly comes in at an impressive 53-22, with 34 of those wins and only 6 of those loses coming at Cincinnati.

Rightfully so, Notre Dame fans are excited.  How could you not get excited about a winner from a reputable conference like the Big East, who’s been to two BCS bowls including the upcoming Sugar Bowl,  and runs an inventive form of the spread?  Just ask Michigan fans, there is no way this hire can go wrong.

History Of Tim Tebow Crying On/Off A Football Field

Written by T | Visited 14224 times, 11 so far today |

Oh, believe me, I’ve been waiting for this moment all year.

Have been waiting to see Tim Tebow crying on the sidelines as he deals with defeat and God finally cannot muster a win over a superior team. Florida was a fraud from the beginning and never played a decent team along the way.

So, in Angry T style, we compiled the “History of Tim Tebow Crying On/Off A Football Field.”

The Most Amazing Florida Gators Wedding Cake You’ll Ever See

Written by T | Visited 51256 times, 31 so far today |

It’s understandable that the last thing you want to see on a sports blog is a wedding cake.

But you have to see the craziest sports-related wedding cake any human has ever created – that Angry T is aware of. It’s the Gator Cake, a piece of art from Elizabeth Forkey the owner of EB Cakes in Toccoa, Georgia.

Everything you see in that picture is edible. The gator, its scales, the eyeballs. All of it.

Photos after the jump.

Sideline Princess Charissa Thompson Off Disabled List, Works Michigan-Purdue Game

Written by T | Visited 20145 times, 23 so far today |

For those of you who have to suffer through mediocre Big Ten Network games there is usually one respite from the boorish play from bland offenses and average defenses.

Charissa Thompson sideline reports.

But those bright moments during a Saturday afternoon have been missing for several weeks after Thompson suffered a broken foot and ankle in a freak step-aerobics accident.

The sideline princess returned to work yesterday’s Michigan-Purdue game but had a special set-up – a plastic chair behind the UM bench, according to MGoBlue.com.

Thompson had surgery five weeks ago and is on doctor’s orders to wear a protective boot, but she left it in the hotel for the game. With only three games left in the season she’s toughing it out.

“I’m sticking to yoga and the treadmill from now on. I’m stepping down from step. Get it?”

And Thompson is tweeting about how excited she was to be in the Motor City/Ann Arbor area for her return.

just landed in lovely Detroit .. I’ve never been so happy to fly;)
