If you hate Brett Favre and figure the NFC Championship was the last time you had to see his face this NFL season, think again.

Hyundai debuted this commercial today and will run it during the Super Bowl.

Background Info: We have no clue about the ProFC other than it’s just another one of those leagues popping up around the world where one dude who works in a factory is pitted against another guy who works on Fiats. Then they get in a ring and try to put the other guy on worker’s comp.

The NFL will be handing out at least one fine to a defensive player this week. Ike Taylor will likely be getting that notice after this hit on Pat White this afternoon in Miami.

Will Pat White ever be able to tie his shoes again? Eat pizza with a fork? Wipe his ass?

YES, says Dolphins owner Steve Ross.

“He’s gong to be fine,” Ross said. “The word we’re getting is it’s a concussion. Serious. But it could have been worse when you saw it.”

What’s worse than guaranteeing a speech impediment at 43. Not remembering your kids names at 44. Or forgetting you played in the NFL by 47?

The supposed torture chamber where Mike Leach sent off Adam James for waterboarding, or whatever the family claims occured there, has been revealed to be nothing more than a one-car garage near the Texas Tech practice facility.

It appears to be nothing more than a garage where a bunch of rednecks would get together to drink beers and avoid their wives.

In other words, this is nothing out of the ordinary in the heart of Texas.

One lucky Texas reporter got an exclusive interview and tour of the ’shed’ from Leach’s attorney. This is what TV reporter dork found.

The Blazers Beat (Oregonian newspaper blog) says that Saturday’s fractured knee cap will cost Greg Oden the rest of the season.

As you can see in the image above, the knee isn’t exactly supposed to look like that. We’ve even zoomed in for a better look and it looks like a pair of 14,000 foot mountains in the Cascades.

Looks to us like AskMen’s Top 10 Gruesome Sports Injuries list can be updated.

This isn’t quite Ricky’s Rant because the people from Alabama in this video are actually happy.

Elated to finally beat Florida. Finally playing in a BCS Championship. (Um, the Tide hasn’t won a top-tier bowl game since 1992’s victory in the Sugar Bowl over Miami, unless you consider the 2005 Cotton Bowl a major moment.)

So, hell yes ‘Bama family has some emotions to unleash. And Tebow’s tears happened to come at the perfect moment. Even grandma gets in on the fun!
