Rachel Weisz is the Latest Rumored Catwoman, but we Throw Out our Choices

Like the rest of the known universe, I really enjoyed the latest Batman installment, The Dark Knight.  I am also very interested in figuring out what the next Batman movie might look like.  According to TunaFlix, the next Batman “may” include Catwoman, and Catwoman “may” be played by Rachel Weisz.  I say “may” because TunaFlix makes it very apparent that director Christopher Nolan has not written the script for a third Batman, nor he has even committed to being a part of the third Batman.

Now just because there is no guarantee that a third Batman will actually include a Catwoman doesn’t mean we cant speculate about who would make the best Catwoman.  Rachel Weisz  is a pretty solid choice, much better than this clown, but she is not my #1 choice.  Let’s take a look at some potential Catwomen and their qualifications for such a role:

I am going to attempt to think outside the box here, so bear with me:

Minka Kelly

Qualifications: She burst on the scene with her role in Lyla Garrity in Friday Night Lights and she has appeared in an action thriller, The Kingdom, albeit in a small role.  When it really comes down to it, a bunch of people would like to see this chick in tight leather pants, and that really all the matters.

Rachel Bilson

Qualifications: HOTT. Her roles in Jumper and Chuck pave the way for her action career to begin.  Also, I love her a little bit and she would look great in very tight clothing.

Olga Kurylenko

Qualifications: Olga gave a pretty solid performance in Quantum of Solace and would certainly do well in this role, although a bigger name might be what the director is looking for.  Her accent might hurt her, but she certainly has the ability to perform all the stunts that would be necessary in this role

Heidi Montag

Qualifications: She has no qualifications to do any of the things she does in life, so this role would be par for her course.  There’s also a slight chance that she would be injured in some way while playing this role, which is something with which most of the known world would be pleased.

Jessica Alba

Qualifications: Watch this video.  After watching that fine piece of cinema I don’t think you can deny Jessica would make a fantastic Catwoman.

Kate Nauta

Qualifications: She was fantastic in the above Transporter 2 fight scene.  Plus, she is fairly easy on the eyes.

Probably the most obvious “IT” girl for this role, Megan Fox:

Qualifications: Why not? Give me one good reason why not?

Uma Thurman

Qualifications: It may be time for her to reprise her role in a Batman movie and this time she should try not to suck so much.  Along with Ahnold, she may be the worst Batman character in the history of Batman or characters.  In any event, she became an action hero in the two Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and 2 and she would be great as Catwoman.

Kate Beckinsale

Qualifications: Kate kicked some ass in Underworld, so she’d be more than qualified to kick ass in the Catwoman role.  She also has the star power that some on this list may lack.

and finally, my pick for Catwoman:

Kristin Kruek:

Qualifications – She starred next to Tom Welling in Smallville and if the above video is any indication of her skills, she can do a backflip off a diving board.  Personally, I don’t care if you agree with this pick, because I love her and I want to see her in more movies.
