Epic Fails and Falls at the Tour De France and Other Bike Races

I wouldn’t not want to be Frank Schleck, or anyone related to Frank Schleck after seeing this video.

I was almost concerned for Frank’s safety after watching that horrific crash.  Not concerned enough to look up if he died or not, but concerned to the point that I was hoping he didn’t.

Just kidding, I’m almost that heartless, but not THAT heartless.  Schleck not only didn’t die, he went on to to finish that stage of the Tour de  Suisse.  Here are some pictures of the drop that Frank almost endured had he not got caught on some leaves and branches only a few meters below the guardrail.

Of course, I’m not here to heap praise on some dude that went over a guardrail.  Instead, I’m here to show you more dudes going over guardrails, or at least more dudes hurting themselves. Here are some of the best crashes of the Tour de <insert country>:

I love people on bikes that fall and look dumb, probably because I look dumb when I’m simply sitting on a bike and I’m very spiteful of those who don’t look at dumb as me.

It’s great way to go through life kids, spite everyone who achieves any modicum of success that you haven’t.  Bitter old men are made this way.  Bitter old 25 year olds are made this way.
