Some Days It’s Really Good To Be Manute Bol

Written by T | Visited 18499 times, 36 so far today

There are times in our busy day when we think…“hmm, I wonder what Manute Bol is up to.”

And he’s usually posing with some ridiculously small person who looks completely out of place next to the 7 foot 7 former NBA three-point threat.

Believe it or not, the guy just turned 47 and seems to not be slowing down. He always has that suit on and a smile on his face.

What else has been on Bol’s plate?

He’s still raising money for Sudan. If you attend the University of Rochester – and are a Bol fan – it’s your lucky day.

November 3:

At 7-foot-7, Sudanese-born Manute Bol was known as the NBA’s tallest player. Now, Bol has teamed up with famed pollster John Zogby to achieve an even higher goal: building schools in the war-torn villages of his native Sudan through the non-profit organization Sudan Sunrise. Bol and Zogby will tour Rochester to raise awareness about the reconciliation project. This program is sponsored by the University of Rochester.

Just thought we’d pass this along.
