Joakim Noah Refuses to Keep his Weird Looking Mouth Shut

Like all you, I love Joakim Noah. Every time he steps on the court, my heart goes aflutter with his ridiculous hair and weird looking face. Sure, he yells at his coach, sure he might be the least likeable man in the NBA, even among his teammates, but I’ll be goddamned if he isn’t positive. Take a look at his latest comments about the Pistons:

"I feel like we’re different, but I feel like at the same time, with our style of play, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have beat that team," Noah said. "I think Detroit’s a great team, but I still feel like we’re better than them, really. I feel like we’re a better team."

Anyone who watched the last Pistons / Bulls game knows just how false those comments are. The Pistons couldn’t have been less interested in the game. Chauncey Billups said as much in his halftime interview. When the sideline reporter posed Chauncey Billups this question:

"These guys seem to have your number, winning three games against you thus far this year. How do you turn that around when one team seems to play so well against you?"

Chauncey responded by saying, "Well these guys always play hard against us in the regular season, we don’t really play hard until the playoffs, and we played pretty well against them in the playoffs last year."

Even though Chauncey and the Pistons are obviously lazy, why would you try to rattle their cage if you are Joakim? Don’t you have enough to worry about? How about trying to make the playoffs in maybe the worst conference, top to bottom, in the history of the NBA. Because right now, you are half game out behind the likes of New Jersey. Don’t even attempt to catch up the Philadelphia, they are 4.5 games ahead of you, the 7th spot is just a pipe dream at this point.
