Jason Maxiell is not an All-Star caliber player as of yet, but produces at least one "Oh my God," moment every game. In game 4, he produced two. Here they are:
He also hit three or four jumpers in the game, which brought me more joy than either of these two plays because it means he may become at 15 and 10 type of guy when he gets the minutes.
In honor of Jason’s ridiculousness, we have put together a list of the Top 35 blocks of all-time. We started with a top 25 list, but we found so many good ones, that we kept adding and adding until we got to 35. When we got there, there were three more that just had to be added, so we ended up with 38. Take a look

29. Patrick Ewing Jr. block saves the game against WVU…but it was probably a goaltend

27. Tyrus Thomas on Rip Hamilton – Tyrus swats a Hamilton shot into the seats and then puts his nuts on the back of Rip’s head.

best block i ever saw: i forget who the visiting team was, but this guy took a jump shot from about 15 out on the baseline against cincinnati a few years ago. kenyon martin was guarding the guy in a normal defensive crouch about 3 feet away. when the shot went up, martin jumped straight up and just caught the ball with two hands near its apex and came down with it.i’ve never seen anything like it.

otherwise, a pretty sweet compilation, though Nate Robinson’s is my personal favorite if only because Yao Ming actually holds his head afterward as if he’s been shot.
