The Tale of Bonnie Richardson and Other Ridiculous High School Records

Written by admin | Visited 834 times, 8 so far today |

Hopefully you have seen this by now, because it is absolutely unbelievable.  This young woman, Bonnie Richardson, won the Texas state track title by herself. Oh yeah, you read that correctly.  Here was her stat line:

1. Won the high jump
2. Second in the Long Jump
3. Third in the Discus
4. Won the 200 Meters
5. Second in the 100 Meters

That is some impressive athletic ability if I do say so myself.  The only other person to accomplish this feat in the history of the state of Texas was former Pittsburgh Steeler Frank Pollard. No word on whether he was wearing this vest when he won the state title:

While Bonnie’s win was impressive, some other high schoolers have put together some impressive record of their own.  Some of these are so ridiculous that they don’t even seem real, but I assure you they are.
