There is a definite lull in the sports world right now.  Baseball has has not yet begun.  The NBA playoffs are still a couple weeks away and football seems like a distant memory.  Fortunately, although football taketh away, it also giveths in our hour of need, in the form of NFL Cheerleading tryouts.

Let’s take a look at some of the teams that have held their 2009 tryouts and see what kind of talent showed up:

I have no idea who to bet on in tomorrow’s BCS National Championship Game, and not betting is just not an option.  That’s like showering without soap, gin without tonic, kittens without kaboodles and attempting to enjoy a football game without an uncomfortable amount of money on the line.  I only trust one group of people more than I trust myself and that group is obviously college cheerleaders.  Let us allow the relative hotness of the cheerleders to decide whom on which to bet.  That strategy has to be at least as effective as my 40% ATS so far this year:

With the BCS Bowl participants decided, there is nothing to do but wait for the games and debate who deserves to win the Heisman.  The ceremony is only days away, so we thought we would help the voters decide. We could throw stats at you that you are probably already aware of and tell you that Tebow’s 28 passing TDs are more important than Graham Harrell’s 41 TDs, but instead of boring you with our opinion, we decided to do something we never do, and just show you some hot chicks.

Shockingly, crotchety old Cricket fans aren’t too fond of the 19th century developments currently taking place in their game.  Cheerleaders have been added to Indian Premier League Cricket to add spice to a game that no more than 45 people worldwide actually understand.  Take a look at some of the risqué outfits that the cheerleaders have chosen to wear:
