In putting together the Top 35 Blocks post earlier this week, I rediscovered how awesome the old NBA Superstar videos were, and continue to be. If you don’t know what the NBA Superstar videos are, then I request that you leave this site immediately. No, no, don’t leave, I really need you as a regular reader, but I do ask that you familiarize yourself with these fantastic videos through this post. These videos set fantastic highlights of NBA stars to even more fantastic 80’s and early 90’s music. They allowed a generation of NBA fans, namely me, an opportunity to take a look at what we missed when we were three or four years old. We have compiled every video that can possibly be found on this internet in the post below. Watch and enjoy:

Michael Jordan – Take My Breath Away – Berlin
Jordan also appeared in the second NBA Superstars video – Feels Like Another One – Patti Labelle
Charles Barkley – The Warrior – Scandal
Charles Barkley in the second installment – Born to be Wild – Steppenwolf
Hakeem Olajuwon - How You Like Me Now?
Julius Erving – This is second favorite, because of the music – Greatest Love of All
Larry Bird – Small Town – John Mellencamp
Larry’s 2nd – Winning it all – The Outfield
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Dominique Wilkins – This is by far my favorite, because of the music – Looking Glass – Yanni
Dominique also appeared in the second Superstars video:
Isaiah Thomas – The Right Stuff
Magic Johnson – Control – Janet Jackson
Magic’s 2nd – I Will Remember You – Patti Austin
Olajuwon, Ewing and Robinson – The Centers – Meet Me in the Middle – Gladys Knight
Larry Johnson – Ain’t No Stopping This – LL Cool J
Chris Mullin and Tim Hardaway – Ready or Not – Wrecks N’ Effects
Karl Malone – I’ve Been Working Too Hard – Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars – No Pain, no Gain – Buckshot Lafonque
Mark Price – Black Gold – Soul Asylum
NBA Up and Comers – Are You Ready to Fly? – Rozalla – Good to see they consider Shawn Bradley an up and comer
Clyde Drexler – Teddy’s Jam 2- Guy
And finally, this is the last superstars video I could find and it details the games’ humble beginnings with "These are the Times to Rememeber," by Billy Joel.
I hope that is all of the available videos, because I did promise you. Please let me know if I missed any.
