The German National Basketball Team Gets a Little Kaman in their Lives

I guess you have to commend Chris Kaman for his ingenuity. He knew he had absolutely no chance of making the United States Olympic basketball team, so he did what an red blooded American with a dream might have done, he applied for dual citizenship to the country from which is great-grandparents immigrated.

Some people may call Chris a traitor to his country for deciding to suit up for the German National Team. I disrespectfully disagree with anyone who takes that opinion. It’s not like Chris is trading state secrets with Nazi Germany; he is simply playing basketball for his country of ancestry.

Look at this t-shirt for god’s sake. If he isn’t German, how did he get that t-shirt?

Look at this formidable German lineup with Chris at that 5. Watch out LeBron;

Center: Chris Kaman

Power Forward: Dirk Nowitzki

Small Forward: Detlef Schrempf

Shooting Guard: Max Schmeling

Point Guard: Von Kaiser
