If only Camels had a concept of American Currency

When anyone talks about sports betting they almost always leave out all their loses and always inject all their wins into the conversation.  What goes unspoken when talking about wins is the fact that most sports betters have lost three times the sum of all their wins.  Well, here is a quadruped who doesn’t have to embellish her gambling wins, because she is perfect on the year.

Look at that smug daughter of a bitch. Her name, Princess, couldn’t be more emasculating to a legion of male sports betters who regularly lose their shirts on a given weekend.  Go ahead and gloat about your sports betting prowess and your ability to go months with water, you prick.

You may be less impressed with this dromedary after reading the above article because she doesn’t pick against the spread and just picks a winner by nibbling on a cracker.  However, she had no clue which team was the favorite, so it’s pretty much like she chose the outcome of 10, 50/50 chances in a row.  I refuse to argue with that type of success and in honor of Princess I am putting $50 dollars on the money line for the Patriots this week against the Jets.  I will keep you appraised of how quickly my winnings escalate in the coming weeks.

If you really enjoy Gambling, You’ll Visit Oneseason.com

Are you a degenerate gambler? I know I am.  If you are, there is no reason for you not to throw your money away at OneSeason.com. What is Oneseason.com? Well, I’m glad you asked.  OneSeason.com is a trading exchange where fans can buy and sell shares of athletes.  What does that mean? To be honest, I have no idea, but I can explain to you how I will probably lose $45.

I bought 5 shares of Brett Favre at $3.00.  Why Brett was priced at $3.00 is a mystery to me.  From what I can gather from people who have been on the site since it’s inception (seven days ago), players go up or down for almost no reason at all.  I originally assumed that a players’ value who spike when they had a good game, until I looked at a price chart of Lebron James. Lebron was down 42% today and as far as I know, he didn’t play a game or make any news to speak of.  The same can be said for Marion Barber or Terrell Owens. There guys have thought of everything.  An IPO for Donovan McNabb comes out tomorrow for $5 dollars a share. As a Lions fan, I sure hope a Dan Orlovsky IPO gets released soon.  I will definitely be dumb enough to buy it just to find yet another way for the Lions to figuratively kick me in the moneymaker.

I have seen a sites that offer a sort of an exchange for sports. TradeSports comes to mind, but that is more of a sports betting exchange where you can place wagers on games. I have never seen a site where you can buy shares of a single athlete and hope your shares arbitrarily go up.

So, as fun as this market looks, it is most likely put together by pirates.   Swashbuckling, website building, webmastering pirates.  I applaud their pirate efforts to steal my money and make the saying, “A fool and his money are soon parted,” relevant to today’s youth.  Check it out for yourself and see if you can’t make a buck or two.  Some people obviously have, take a look at the “Top Traders,” box on the side of the page. Here is a look at how some of your favorite stars are trading after today’s market action:

Tom Brady $3.25

Tony Romo $3.14

Reggie Bush $4.40

Eli Manning $3.70

Peyton Manning $3.50 (Take that)

Manny Ramirez $5.27

Sidney Crosby $4.00

LT $2.95

Kobe Bryant $3.43

Kevin Garnett $5.25

It might be interesting to think of the least valuable players that could be traded on this exchage.  Travis Henry, minus the $400s of blow in his shirt pocket would probably trade for around .12 cents on this exchance.
